You have to like it – to want to do it.
It’s work. There’s a plot process, a psychological part – figuring out the characters’ motives and personalities. There’s a situational part laid on structure and character.
There are the words you use both in the characters and in the surround.
There are endless revisions, great and small (see #1). Writing is as earthbound as that.
